Are UA Yeezys the same thing as fake yeezys?

There’s been a lot of confusion on forums about the difference between fake yeezys and UA yeezys. I am here to clear that up a bit for you. UA stands for Unauthorised Authentic. Shoes that are truly UA are produced in the same factory as retail versions, however, these shoes typically have some minor defects which renders them unsuitable for retail. An example of such defect may be that the stitching in some areas such as the heel is up to 1mm too wide or too thin. Another example of a minor defect could be that there is a slight smudge on the shoe when it comes out of production. Typically, these shoes would be torn apart and reused for materials, however, there are some factory owners that may choose to keep these aside and sell them as either unauthorised authentic or factory defects. The main issue with these types of yeezys is that they are seen as the same as fake yeezys. The reason this is the case is because they often will not come in the same box as retails, as they don’t make it to that stage in the assembly line. Another reason is that, due to the fact they don’t make it to stores, they won’t have a receipt provided either. Don’t be deterred from purchasing these yeezys though, as they are a great way to get authentic pairs without breaking the bank, and they are more sturdy and reliable than fake yeezys. Personally, when buying a pair of these UA yeezys, I would recommend making sure the seller uses a third party website such as paypal, this is how you know you will be protected as a buyer. Finally, make sure the website you are buying from also provides multiple high resolution images of each shoe, this way you can zoom in and see every detail and make sure they are legit.
